View Full Report
Released August 2012, the third Annual Responsible Investment Review from Co-operative Asset Management (TCAM) is their most extensive report yet. In it they discuss their ongoing engagements with investee companies and their work to integrate environmental, social and governance issues into the investment process.
Available online by clicking here, the 76 page report details the work of TCAM’s Responsible Investments Research team over the last 12-18 months. It covers a wide variety of investor interests ranging from gender balance in the boardroom to sustainable fishing and from shale gas to human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Updates are provided on how TCAM have been encouraging and at times challenging companies and regulators to do the sustainable thing on the eight areas that their customers said mattered most to them, and which also led to the launch of their Ethical Engagement Policy in 2005.
Engagement activity outlined illustrates, to individual and institutional investors alike, the commitment to hold companies to account. Furthermore, TCAM demonstrates their commitment to transparency by continuing to make their AGM voting records public via the web and within the report.
