Land Securities publishes its Corporate Responsibility report today. Entitled ‘Making good progress’ the new report shows how Land Securities views corporate responsibility as being first and foremost about making the company strong and successful. The report can be viewed online at:

  • A definition of the business strategy and the role corporate responsibility plays in helping Land Securities create and protect shareholder value.
  • A clear breakdown of how the company’s activities if executed properly create a sustainable business, stronger communities and a better environment.
  • A clear alignment of targets against the three areas of sustainable business, stronger communities and a better environment with case studies and performance measures demonstrating how it is making progress in each area.
  • The value of space, time, promotion, cash contributions and the investment in community activities reached £3.5 million, equating to approximately £6,000 per employee.
