This year the adidas Group has changed its corporate responsibility reporting by producing a magazine-style review, which sets the performance of the Group in a broader context, in addition to a detailed online report.

In the review, the Group takes a broader view than traditional reports by discussing the social and political context for the Group's work, covering four main topics: big business and sustainability, preparing for major sporting events, 'Made in China' and climate change.

The online report goes into more detail than the review, and is the first to contain Group-wide performance data since Reebok became part of the adidas Group on 31 January 2006. It sets out goals, strategy and actions to improve working conditions in suppliers' factories, reduce environmental impacts and manage wider social responsibilities.

The document, which includes a 'GRI Index' so that readers can see how the adidas Group met Global Reporting Initiative benchmarks, has been released at the same time as the annual financial report to give stakeholders a complete picture of the business.
