Now in its seventh edition, this year’s Sustainability Report shows the Sustainability Roadmap for the 2012-2015 three-year time span: a strategic orientation of reference to integrate a sustainable approach with the operations’ management of the two business sectors (Food & Beverage and Travel Retail & Duty-Free); a guide towards innovation for the Group’s companies to identify, design and implement actions consistent with the objectives defined by Autogrill.
Under the “Sustainability” section in the www.autogrill.com website (http://www.autogrill.com/sustainability/sustainabiliy.aspx?iis=1) you can find the online interactive version of this Report, a digital version of the document that you can directly download from the website, as well as an Ipad version.
Gianmario Tondato da Ruos, Autogrill's CEO, declares: “The complexity of the period served as a stimulus to enhance the Group approach towards sustainability, which is no longer considered as a “nice to have”, but as a driver that can further foster innovation and competitiveness”.
New elements of the Report’s index 2011 include:
- three sustainable strategic areas identified within the Roadmap: People, Product and Planet, which also define the major chapters of the Report 2011.
- the separate representation of the characteristics, the initiatives and the performances of the two business sectors: Food&Beverage and Travel Retail & Duty Free, both from a social-environmental perspective and from an economic-financial standpoint
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) has confirmed a B+ application level of its G3 Reporting Guidelines.
