Armies of ‘ethics ambassadors’ should be created across the corporate world, according to the Institute of Business Ethics (IBE). The IBE says companies should make existing staff into ethics ambassadors either in a full-time role or in addition to their day-to-day work, helping senior management to promote CSR policies. In a new guide on the subject, it says the role would be a ‘cost-effective and powerful tool’ for establishing consistent ethical practices in many areas across a business.
