December 2010

Morrisons has pledged to allocate one in ten of any new posts to homeless and vulnerable people over the next three years. The UK supermarket chain hopes to create more than 10,000 jobs over the period through the opening of new stores, and has made the promise with Create, a not-for-profit company, and the Salvation Army. Morissons will train homeless staff in food handling and basic retailing.
