Puma suppliers to get more helpJuly 2010
Puma is to expand its support for a project that helps its suppliers produce brief CSR reports.
After a pilot involving three South African firms, the clothing company will now give advice on reporting to 20 suppliers in Cambodia, China, and Vietnam.
Each will receive training on reporting using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines as part of the Global Action Network for Transparency in the Supply Chain programme, which is being run with the GRI and the German body GTZ.
Puma says the project will 'help ensure our suppliers fully embrace sustainability'.
