A new report by a UK consultancy has tried to map out the main CSR issues for media companies. Mapping the landscape: CSR issues for the media industry 2008, has been undertaken by Acona and commissioned by the Media CSR Forum, a sector body in which companies work together on CSR. It says key issues include freedom of expression and ‘awareness of the impact of communication’.
