Laura Spence is to head the relaunched Centre for Research into Sustainability, based at London University’s Royal Holloway College. The centre, established in 2004, was previously headed by Dirk Matten, who left Royal Holloway to go to the Schulich School of Business in 2006. It researches corporate social responsibility issues and offers an MSc in sustainability and management. Spence, who is reader in business ethics at Royal Holloway, will be director of the centre, and David Bevan, lecturer in sustainability at the college, will be her deputy.
