The Co-operative Group is to involve consumers in a consultation to help determine its community spending. The group, which put £10million ($15m) into UK community activities last year, is presenting a detailed questionnaire to its three million members and 85,000 employees, asking which social issues they believe should be tackled globally and locally. Results will be published in the New Year. The group says the conclusions will not be binding but will ‘help prioritize the causes and campaigns that will be supported’.
