An online game has been devised to clarify the problems of ethical supply chain management. The Buying Game, introduced last month by the fair trade company Traidcraft and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, seeks to ‘tackle a serious subject in an innovative and engaging way’ by using real cases to show how buying decisions affect suppliers. Players’ choices determine their scores.
